12/1/2015 "Lights of Love" Celebration. The Latrobe Area Hospital Aid Society will hold its 28th "Lights of Love" celebration Tuesday, December 1, 2015, 6:30 p.m.  As in the past, the aid society will adorn a tree with sparkling lights near the main entrance of Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.  Each light represents a gift in honor or memory of someone special.  As part of the program a special roll book, listing all donors to "Lights of Love" as well as the names of those they are honoring or memorializing, is displayed in the hospital lobby.  For a "Lights of Love" brochure or aid society membership application, call 724-537-1733 or click here

Board certified general and thoracic surgeon, Dr. Michael Szwerc, received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Chapel Hill, N.C.
